In the past he has helped the company to maintain constant growth of members (220 members in 2015, compared to 120 in 2011) and a permanent growth of budget during the managerial period. Also, Life Science Nord can look back on a raised number of events and services in cooperation with interdisciplinary cooperation partners. Since 2005 Dr. Thomas Frahm has a doctor title in Biology and has worked as a scientist and Project Leader for Nanobiotechnology at CAN GmbH.

Since 2005, he has built Smaato into the world’s largest independent mobile ad exchange, with over 90,000 publishers & app developers and more than 450 demand partners delivering ads to over 1 billion unique mobile users per month around the world. He’s raised US $50m from prestigious investors such as Aeris Capital, EDBI Singapore, Singapore Press Holdings (SPH) and business angels.
Since 2014 Nikolaus Schuhmacher is Founder and Group CEO of Lifepatch, which is settled in Germany and South Africa. The company provides an innovative system for personal health monitoring. He has joined the advisory board for Deutsche Arzt AG, Connected Health, Medical Contact AG and Blacktusk AG. Schuhmacher was Partner of A.T. Kearney from 1998 until 2009.
