05.07.2021 Unsere Ansprüche an Prostate.carcinoma.ai sind hoch. Die Software soll die Prostata erkennen und vermessen, sie in verschiedene Zonen segmentieren und auffällige Bereiche markieren, die auf eine Läsion hinweisen können. Dafür trainieren unsere neuronalen Netze Tag und Nacht mit Deep Learning Methoden. Unmarkierte MRT-Bilder, annotierte MRT-Bilder und zahllose Metadaten durchlaufen verschiedene Algorithmen, wobei Models aus Vorhersagevariablen (Prädiktoren) generiert werden. Diese Models treffen dann eine Entscheidung, die im besten Fall mit den Befunden aus der Radiologie übereinstimmen. Eine große Menge an Trainingsdaten sind neben einem leistungsfähigen KI-Model die Grundvoraussetzung für eine hohe Erkennungsrate und einer niedrigen Falsch-Positiv-Rate.
